A fire's burning at the city limit Guess I should have left last week or yesterday What do you say we make a break and Fall through the cars What a precious sight Black smoke and the smell of dynamite But something ain't right Oh God it must be Jerry Christ mandering our vision Black top ending all too suddenly The man in white robes has something to say I have brought you the mountain I have brought you the hills Dislodged and cast away we have the mountain, the freedom, the god-fearing empire Aluminum Kingdom To have and raze to the earth

The battle was won by a pair of green eyes, Unassuming flesh that with lazer precision, Did buckle, did burn, and cast me down out of the sky I said, "hey now my friend what are you doing tonight" "Not much, praising Jesus, and not getting high on a landslide four-lane at the edge of town. So do you drive?" Oh well I lost it again, Another late night friend So what? I've blown up I can't keep entertaining these little lies Creeping down the line Don't make me suffer these horrible infants I'll go home, shut the door, turn the locks, and drive in the nails I'll draw the curtain, go to bed, cover up, and burn it down.

The Body 04:54
Back to the shelving wars and the meticulous planning of a day. Hours drip into his hands for years he fought-- then became-- the Man. They don't need us to breathe We don't care to breed anymore When enough is enough We don't want to bleed on the floor Hour by hour the body is never enough Second by second we're clawing and scratching the door Back to the empty promises I've made in my childhood before I had seen the open graves In the earth, and the leaves The concrete, and the dreams And the pulse, and the blood, The love, and the weeds, The snow, and the oil The rain, and the waves Oh this unnatural disaster to become But they don't need us to breathe When enough is enough We don't want to bleed on the floor Hour by hour the body is never enough Second by second we're clawing and scratching the door

Wound in and around the natural filaments in the underground Touch the leaves with bare feet Feel the pulse of the roots and animals We still love you everyday I still love you everyday When we burn down the forest and there's no shade to adore We still love you everyday I still love you everyday Down.. you're going to drown for digging up graves And making the evaporate We still love you everyday We still love you everyday I still love you everyday I still love you every--

The Valley 16:42
Day in and out, running around to the sounds of oblivion I can't believe this Business is booming Fingers like knives stab at the wares This place isn't made for this Where the hell is my deliverance Gotta keep warm, gotta be too dog Gotta dominate this slice of earth It's all for the worms

One last look down the hills The borders always killed me Too afraid to ask for help All of the water is gone Lost in carbonation Forgotten on the shelves Shut off from the world We knew we did the right thing Even with the wolves at the door Plastic glaciers To draw in visitors The other worldly It's too late For the commercial break in heaven No one can save us now
